Roofing

2/17/2025:

The Roofing Project is scheduled to start April 1. Building 12000 and 12100 will be the first to be replaced due to the elevation and possible difficulties involving that building. The decision on which building will follow will be made after receiving the contractor's input and board approval.

3/30/25

Weather permitting, the roofing project will begin on April 1! Remember we all need to be patient with the equipment, noise and parking. Materials have been delivered on March 26 and 27. Buildings 12000 and 12100 will be the first to receive new roofs. 

4/1/25

The roofing project has started.

4/7/25

D&D sent out a reminder today to all residence about the hazards of nails. The roofing crews are taking steps to reduce the number of nails left behind, but everyone is asked to pay attention to avoid tire issues.

Below are updated pictures of the progress on building G and K. Looks like G is going to be ready for the installation very soon. 

4/16/25

Work begins on building 120/J

4/30/25:

Tile load for Building 12080 Summergate + 4 Garages is scheduled for Monday 5/5 weather permitting.

 Tile load for Building 12090 Summergate Garage 3 is scheduled for Monday 5/5 weather permitting.

 Tile load for Building 12120 Summergate + 2 Garages is scheduled for Tuesday 5/6 weather permitting.

5/7/25: Tiles are on roofs and installation is beginning.

5/17/25:

2 Crews working on apply mortar to the shingles on building 80 and 90. Building 80 is expected to completed today. Inspection set for Monday or Tuesday of next week. 

5/20/25:

Building 90 is 100% finished and has passed inspection!!! Building 100 is 99% completed. Building 80 is expected to be done by Saturday of this week. They will start tiling on building 110 this Friday. Lots of progress!!!! I'll add pictures of the finished roofs soon!

5/27/25:

Building 110 is 70% finished. Roofing on building 120 is scheduled to begin on 5/29/25. 

5/29/2025:

After a brief rain delay they started tiling building 120 today.

6/6/2025:

The rain this week has slowed progress, but there was work completed between the storms. Building 110 is expected to be completed today. Building 80 was to be finished yesterday. Both have had the mortar applied. 

4 building roofs should be done in the next day or two. Only 2 to go! Reports are the roofs look really good in person. 

6/16/25:

The two crews are working on the last building. Weather permitting they should be done this week with all the roofing! Building 80 is being painted and should be done shortly. They started power washing and taping on building 90 today!
