Painting

2/28/2025 (updated!):

Painting of the entire Summerwind division is scheduled to start March 14. The painting will begin at the pool and trash dumpster areas. The initial work will involve stucco and crack repairs. The curing time is 10 days. Then progress to the other condo areas while the pool repairs cure. 

Golf View III will be the last to be painted. This, to allow the roof construction to be completed before painting. This should eliminate the problems caused by the dust and dirt affecting the painted surfaces. 

The painted areas will be power washed, sprayed with paint and then rolled. There is a three color template. The color examples are posted in the mailroom area.

Pressure washing will take place on the Monday your building is scheduled to be painted.

5/8/25:

Unit storage building doors and trim repair started. A big improvement over the rooted out, rusty doors. 

5/16/25:

The mortar crew has begun shingle mortaring at building 80. The roofing is just about finished on that building. They will move to the other buildings, following the roof completions. Painting on building 80 is scheduled for June 6, 2025. 

6/6/2025:

Rain this week has caused some delays in the roofing. That will affect the painting schedule. Unfortunately more rain is predicted for the upcoming week as well. When we know more I'll post it here. 

6/9/25:

The painting process has officially begun on building 80!!!! Power washing in progress. Updates to follow. 

6/11/25:

Painting has begun on Building 80!!!!

6/16/25:

Power washing and taping has begun on building 90! Building 80 should be completed in the next day or two, weather permitting.
